My Sky Diving Experiences

What is really there with sky diving experiences?

I tell you what: sky diving is perhaps the only activity that you shouldn’t pass off during your entire lifetime. Try it once, before you die, because it explains everything you’ve known for so long.

Because you see, man generally isn’t afforded a view of the world from the stars. Ancient men could only guess and wonder, and that’s the reason why the world was once flat. Sky diving convinces you of these several facts: facts that the world is really huge, the world is by no means flat, and it is as beautiful up above than it is on ground.

Beautiful, no other word can be as convincing. Have you ever imagined how would habitations appear to the birds? If you know, then you’d understand why everyone dreams of flying. It’s like a whole new horizon to discover, this world at 8,000 feet. Right there, alone you will be convinced that there is a God.

Many seem to think sky diving experiences has a suicidal disposition, that or the people that go sky diving are adrenaline addicted. No statement can be more false, sky diving is enjoyed by so many like me because it is the closest thing to flying; no other means can be as close. Up there, in the air, anyone can do what any bird can do, except to fly back up of course. You can roll, do a somersault, dive at 200mph and glide. And you’ll never feel any freer. Sky diving isn’t about the thrill, or the pump of adrenaline, or the rush of winds, or even the breathless view of the landscape. It is simply about flying.

The only obstacle for newcomers is the fear of ultimate death, and it is a justified fear. After all falling at such heights can be weakening even to the toughest fortitude. But after a few jumps, after understanding the mechanics of Terminal Velocity, the fear of falling subsides as your body adjusts to the freefall.

Sky diving experiences are varied for everyone, since it varies too for the purpose of the jump. Persons like me sky dive to see the world at a different angle, others dive for the thrill seeking. For me I have seen the Keys, the Lake Elsinore, the Long Island, and every time, my sky diving experiences are equally majestic.

And rare.

Say, have you jumped lately?
