Things to Do

For example in the evenings you can enjoy the brisk air and Colorado skies by taking a Nordic Sleigh Ride. The ride begins after dark and you are seated in a Santa-like sleigh that is pulled by the very large Belgian draft horses. Your trip will end at a miner's camp that was established in the 1860's.

The Gold Run Nordic Center is another good choice. You have breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range, Baldy, and Guyot. If you are looking to unwind this is the place. You can feel the sun on your face, enjoy the warmth of a blazing fire and enjoy some of the most delicious soups.

If you are adventurous you can take an excursion to the Phoenix Gold Mine. It is not far and is a good way to break up your Breckenridge skiing.
