The “Keystone Area” is considered by most dirt bike aficionados as one of the greatest Colorado dirt bike trails. Its most frequented upon dirt bike trail is the “Red Cone” trail also called as the “Webster Pass” trail. The Red Cone trail is a looping dirt bike trail that runs just outside of the “Montezuma” over to the “Webster Pass” via a one way dirt trail.  The Red Cone trail has numerous steep sloping trails that some professional dirt bike riders consider as great challenges.  The “Radical Hill” is also one of the most sought after Colorado dirt bike trails. The Radical Hill trail is connected to the Red Cone trail and has an elevation of more than 12,000 feet. Near the top of the Radical Hill is an old cabin that serves as a resting place for dirt bike riders. The cabin has breathtaking views on the valleys below the Radical Hill. There is also a cabin on top of the Radical Hill that serves as an overnight camp for dirt bike riders. The cabin is also used during winter by “cross country skiers”.

The Eastern Crested Butte has three main dirt trails that can be interconnected to make a large looping dirt trail. The three main dirt trails are the “Pearl Pass”, “Taylor Pass” and the “Italian Creek Road”. The area is also accessible via Aspen and offers a more scenic but much more rugged dirt trail. The Italian Creek Road trail is usually used as base camp for most dirt bike trailers; however, most of the dirt bike trailers usually camp along the road.

Colorado dirt bike trails also make an ideal ATV trailing. Although, the terrain of the dirt trails are best suited for dirt bikes because of the numerous single track trails of the area.
